I am a 1991 Graduate of C. Milton Wright High School and a lifelong resident of Harford County. I am the owner of Crabby Axe Throwing located in Bel Air.

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have 2 adult sons.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Currently the owner of Crabby Axe Throwing in Bel Air, MD.  I love being a part of the community where I grew up and being able to give back.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
The Local and Echo Frezco.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Lived and worked in Harford County my entire life.

 

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Favorite movie is How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.  Favorite TV shows would be Yellowstone and Suits.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Throwing axes is a great way to deal with stress.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Former Kunkel building where my business is located.  I remember going with my mom to pick up parts for my dad.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Barbara O’Neill. We could all learn from her wisdom. I would take her to The Local.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
We are a community that thrives on small businesses.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still getting it but slower and with more gray hair.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I enjoy shooting.  Especially sporting clays.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
My Axe.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My kids.

Q: What community service or volunteer work do you participate in for your local community?
I give to dozens of non profits throughout the year and  I volunteer with SARC for many of their events.

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Family, friends, tequila.
