The town of Bel Air is not only the county seat of Harford County, but it is the hub to many of the surrounding cities because of its central location and all it offers – various county and state agencies, medical facilities, shopping, entertainment and recreation opportunities. Bel Air is a fantastic place to call home. The community consist of all types of homes, has public and private schools, many local employers, seven public parks, walking and bike trails, restaurants, pubs & breweries, many shopping centers, a mall and quaint boutiques. The town host many special events throughout the year which bring the people together, such as an annual Kite Festival, 4th of July Parade & Fireworks, Harford County Farm Fair, BBQ Bash, and Christmas Parade and tree lighting. From spring through fall there is a farmers’ market every Saturday morning. During the summer months there are outdoor movies nights and concerts. Lastly, on the first Friday there is a block party with live music, food trucks, artisan vendors, beer and wine garden and activities for kids.
