Hello! I am Noelle Hoffman, formerly Wolfrom. My family has lived in Bel Air for decades now! I grew up in the Bel Air/Churchville area. I am the proud younger sister of a Navy Sailor currently stationed overseas in Japan. I am a wife and mom as well. But professionally, I am a licensed Insurance Agent under Fuller & Associates Insurance in Bel Air, MD. I specialize in Event Insurance. I am also the daughter of a local business owner, my father Bill owns Wolfrom Masonry.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My mom and dad live in the Churchville/Bel Air area. I have an older brother currently serving overseas in Japan with his wife and their dog. I am a new mom, my son is 5 months old, my husband and I got married in September of 2021. We’ve been together since we met at Salisbury University in 2015.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have worked in Harford County since I was 15. First at a local grocery store, and after I graduated from college I started at Fuller & Associates and just never left. I started out as a receptionist/assistant but got my insurance license in December of 2019. I thoroughly love my job and coworkers.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
La Tolteca, Rainbow King, and Margherita’s are favorite lunch/dinner spots for me.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I grew up in Bel Air, but I moved to Carroll County in 2020 to split the distance between my husband’s job and my own. So, I have lived, and eventually worked, in Bel Air until I was 27.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
My boss honestly. She has so much experience and has a wonderful story.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Favorite movies: Dante’s Peak, The Lion King, Jurassic Park. Favorite TV Show: 9-1-1, Criminal Minds, and Law and Order: SVU.  I’m going to cut myself off here, I love movies and TV shows.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
“Follow your heart, but trust your gut.”

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Artic Circle in Churchville! My family has been going there since I was a small child, their soft-serve is superior to all others! I often managed to talk my mom and dad into going every time we go to their house in the summer.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Michelle Obama. I find her story fascinating. She’s such a strong, intelligent woman and I would love to sit down with her and discuss her life first as a woman in politics and also as a wife and mother.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love how small Bel Air is. No matter how big our small town gets it always manages to feel like a tight-knit community that never feels as sprawling as it is.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In five years: probably right where I am now. Working and striving to learn everything I can about my ever changing industry.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I am incredibly empathic.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Cats. 10/10. Also, babies.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My husband and baby.

Q: What community service or volunteer work do you participate in for your local community?
I donate frequently to SARC and Lasso’s. My 2024 goal is to participate in a charity half-marathon.

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Comfort, laughter, my family.
