Hi there! My name is Lisa Garonzik- Bullock, I am a native of Bel Air and the founder of Grounded in the Clouds- a kids aerial yoga studio!

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My husband, Ron, and I have created a beautiful blended family with his 3 amazing sons Noah, Greyson, Brady, and my beautiful daughter, Arianna. We also have a 4 year old Beagle Bulldog mix that we have creatively named “Beabull”.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Grounded in the Clouds is my favorite business I have ever owned.  The studio is a magical wonderland where kids climb, swing, flip, hang upside down, learn meditation techniques…and can just be a kid!  I absolutely adore all of the children that come through the studio week after week.  I leave every class energized with a big smile on my face.  How many people can say that at the end of their work day?  I also love that we’re making a positive impact in the community.  Knowing that what we’re offering is not only fun but also good for the kids physically and mentally is incredibly rewarding.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
One Eleven Main, Z Vault, Box Hill Pizzeria.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived and worked on and off for 40 years!

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
At the moment: Shark Tank and Schitts Creek.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Never be afraid to start over again or to try something that scares you.  That fear is what makes it exciting and will fuel you to succeed.  Life is what you make of it!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I feel nostalgic about the Harford Mall.  I used to spend my weekends there with friends, enjoying the food court, arcade, and movie theater.  I wish my kids could have those same experiences, and it makes me a little sad that it’s changed so much.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would love to meet Kevin Hart because his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a successful entrepreneur is incredibly inspiring.  His relentless ambition and ability to turn challenges into opportunities make him someone I deeply respect.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My favorite part of this community is the people!  I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible individuals—from fellow business owners to the parents and kids at Grounded in the Clouds, and the close friends I’ve made through our events.  We have an amazing community here, filled with people who genuinely support and celebrate each other’s success.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5 to 10 years, I envision myself having franchised Grounded in the Clouds, still living in Bel Air, and taking more time to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I started my first business at three years old.  I sold cut out, paper flowers to people in my neighborhood.  I cleaned up pretty well for a toddler, lol.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A genuinely happy child.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My daughter, my husband and my assistant, Jessica, who has stuck around through the growing pains of a start up.

Q: What community service or volunteer work do you participate in for your local community?
We open our studio to CASA kids once a month so they can come and just be a kid for an hour or two.  You can find their info here: https://www.casaofharfordcounty.org/

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Safe, Family, Grateful.
