I am a Fitness Yoga Instructor the past 34 years. Started at the “Y” in Los Angeles Ca. Moved to Maryland in April 1991. I love what I do and am very passionate of my role in changing peoples lives with fitness.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Married for 36 years on July 3 this year. I have two children son (35) and daughter (33) and four beautiful grandsons, ages 33 months, 2 years, 8 months and 9months.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
In California I worked for Northrop in the engineering department until I got pregnant and found the wonderful world of fitness. I love being able to help others learn to enjoy fitness by making it Fun! Teaching people to “Honor and love their bodies.”
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
My favorite restaurants are Looneys and Margarita Pizza.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I’ve lived here since 1991.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Mrs. Doubtfire is my favorite movie and Survivor is my favorite TV show.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Find a routine/fitness/hobby you enjoy. Make better choices as to what you do or put into your body. Love Life!
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I loved the Bel Air Athletic Club. I Love the New improved BAAC …Coppermine. I love all the new local breweries and small businesses in Bel Air.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Temple Grandin. She’s an amazing woman. Maybe have lunch at The Local.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Favorite thing is Music. I love attending any live festival or music event.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still teaching and improving peoples lives along with my own. Maybe doing some traveling. Attending lots of sporting events with my grandsons.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I won the region math competition in 1979 in my home state of Ohio

The rewards from a routine Yoga Practice.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
The Lord.
