Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I spent a lifetime growing up in small business, I was a business banker and credit officer for 15 years and started my business in 2021. I love helping people turn their visions into reality. It sounds corny but it’s so true.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
La Cucina, The Vandiver, The Vineyard, Sean Bolans, Barretts on The Pike.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
18 years.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
This is a hard response based on my community involvement for so many years, it’s hard to pick just one.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I love Big Bang Theory.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Stop wasting your time and energy on people committed to misunderstanding your “why”. It’s OK to enjoy life, we don’t work so hard to not have fun!
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I love Jo Retro in Havre de Grace and all the awesome antique shops everywhere.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Denise Thomas, a famous motivational speaker who has changed my perception of myself this year. We would meet at Barretts on the Pike.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love that Harford County literally has everything I love from farmland, to small businesses. I fell in love with it at first sight in 2005.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself running a multi-partner firm led by women.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I was going to be a Navy Nuclear Engineer at one time.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
My Granddaughter for people. La Cucina for food. Jo Retro for shopping.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
Denise Thomas as per above and my husband Steve.
Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Family, Fur Babies, Snuggles.
