I’m Megan Ewing, a seasoned brand strategist and the visionary founder of “Think Big, Act Bold – Small Business Growth Strategy.” I am dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs through innovative automation and productivity solutions. With over a decade of experience, I specialize in transforming business operations into streamlined, efficient processes that not only save time but also significantly boost profitability.

I am also the studio manager and co-founder of Harford Haven Studio in Bel Air, MD, where we focus on creating a home for creatives by allowing creatives to come in, use our space and equipment to build their dreams.

I am passionate about teaching business owners how to leverage technology to reclaim their time, enhance client experiences, and lead their markets. I am also an engaging speaker and content creator, regularly sharing insights on my podcast and YouTube series “The Productivity Playbook,” which offers actionable tips and strategies for business efficiency.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am a wife and mom of three.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have been a full-time entrepreneur for 10 years this year! I love helping entrepreneurs and creatives simplify the business side of things so that they can really focus on what they are good at, and thats being creative.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I love Island Spice, their house salmon is my favorite dish ever. Also Chicken Rico in Aberdeen.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have been in Harford County my whole life, expect for the few years I spent living in downtown Baltimore.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Great question! I don’t watch many movies/tv shows now, usually if I’m watching anything its a podcast on YouTube. But my favorite movie ever would be Eat, Pray, Love.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be yourself!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Melinda Gates, I would probably take her to Island Spice or Barretts on the Pike.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The community comes together for big events.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Being in a position to spend more time in the non-profit world, or just more time to give back to the community.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I rode horses every week as a child.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My daughter.

Q: What community service or volunteer work do you participate in for your local community?
I usually try to find at least one way to volunteer for at least an hour each week, whether it’s helping someone in need of business advice or volunteering on a project or event that I heard about in the community.

Peace, happiness, family.
