Hi, I’m Tracy Brown, the owner of Tracy Michelle Photography. My mission is to empower women Entrepreneurs to be seen and heard in their small businesses by creating amazing Headshot/Personal Branding images that propel them to the next level. Each woman I work with deserves to feel confident and empowered, knowing that their story is being told in the best light.  Personal branding images are more than just pictures; they are a visual representation of your brand’s story. These images: Build Trust, Enhance Connection, Boost Visibility and Increase Engagement. I am passionate about teaching businesses how they can use scroll-stopping branding images to increase their results. My photography captures the essence of who you are and what your business represents. Whether you’re looking to update your website, create engaging social media content, or need images for marketing materials, I’m here to help you every step of the way.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

I live on a small farm in Bel Air MD with my husband Kevin, Step-daughter Allie, 2 dogs, chickens and goats.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I’ve always had a passion for photography, which started in high school and continued through college. Despite this love, I initially pursued a career in the medical field as a Medical Sales Representative, believing that photography wouldn’t be financially sustainable. I spent 13 successful years in medical sales but eventually grew tired of the corporate world. That’s when I made the life-changing decision to open Tracy Michelle Photography.  My experience in building a brand as a sales representative inspired me to help other women build their brands through eye-catching images. What I love most about what I do is helping women put their best foot forward, even if they have insecurities about being in front of the camera. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them gain confidence and feel empowered by the images we create together.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
The Local and Barrett’s on the Pike.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived here for 18 years but grew up in Baltimore County.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
The most interesting person I’ve met in our community is Michael Tama. He is the most giving person I know. When I organized a Prostate Cancer Benefit at Looney’s, Michael went above and beyond to support the event. He helped with auction giveaways, sold ads for our brochure, booked bands, and even brought people to the event. His dedication and generosity made a significant impact, and I am truly grateful for his support.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I love all the medical shows like Chicago Med.  I also love to watch The Voice since I use to sing.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Don’t give up on your passion. You may be given a second chance to make money with a job you love.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Looneys because I met my husband there on St. Patrick’s weekend.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love the Ma & Pa trail.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I would love to start traveling more and taking photography workshops around the world.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I’m pretty much an open book. I took singing lessons so I could get up and sing with local bands like Never Never, Tripwire, Faded Image, Hijinx etc.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Love from my dog, Kodak.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My husband Kevin. He inspired me to open my photography business.

I use to help raise money for the Prostate Cancer Run. Running your own business and taking care of family and aging parents have put things on hold now.  Looking for opportunities to give back
