My name is Susan Gue. I have been working with First Natl Bank for five years. I have two sisters. I am the middle sister out of the three of us. I was born in Switzerland and have dual citizenship.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been married for 26 years. I have three children. My oldest is 23, my middle is 22 and my youngest is 16.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I started my career at Rosedale Federal and was at Rosedale Federal for 24 years. Five years ago, I decided to make a change and I started here at FIRST NATIONAL Bank as a mortgage loan consultant.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Two of my favorite restaurants are Enotria Restaurant & Grill in Forest Hill and Silver Spring Mining Company in Bel Air.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived in Harford County since 1998.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Cleopatra Pappas. When I speak with her I am intrigued. I’m not sure that I’ve ever met somebody that knows so much about so many different things.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite movie is Grease or Best Little Whore House in Texas, and my favorite TV show is Big Bang Theory.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
I am not sure that I have advice that I would give people, but I do enjoy educating people about numbers and mortgages and when it makes the most sense to refinance.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would love to have lunch at Enotrias with.…? I really cannot think of anyone.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Everyone knows everyone. Small community.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Professionally – I see myself still at First National Bank getting ready to retire and down size and buy a house in the south.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I was born in Switzerland and all my Dad’s side of the family is there.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My kids inspire me everyday.
Q: What community service or volunteer work do you participate in for your local community?
I do a lot of volunteer work within the community. I do community work for Chesapeake Cancer, Alliance, Breathe, Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, the Leah Farone Foundation and Brandon Tolson Foundation.
