I am a massage therapist serving the Harford County community for about 25 years. I also teach yoga and am a TRE provider. I enjoy spending time outdoors in my vegetable garden or with my dogs when not busy helping people with their physical improvement.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have 4 adult daughters and one very patient husband.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I love what I do because it makes a difference in my clients lives. There is a saying in the massage field, if you’re not feeling so happy, go give a massage and you’ll feel better. I often feel that I get more out of doing massage than the client gets out of receiving one.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Hands down Sizzling Bombay is my favorite also Italian Sensations.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have been serving Harford County since 2001.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Too many people to narrow it down to one.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Outlander, either TV series or book series.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
If you are feeling in pain, don’t give up without trying a variety of treatment options.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
The former Bel Air Athletic Club now Coppermine.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Sam Hueghan is the one I’d have lunch with because I highly respect his staying common folk interaction even though he has hit it big time. We would have lunch at Sizzling Bombay.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The small town feel without being small.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Exactly where I am now!
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I just learned how to do Ashiatsu massage.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My family.
Q: What community service or volunteer work do you participate in for your local community?
I give Double Red cell blood as often as they allow me to. Also, I collected eclipse glasses in my community to be sent to Argentina for the school children there to be able to see the next eclipse I believe in the fall.
