I was born a very long time ago and my real name is Jessica. I really don’t like to give my age. I just say I’m 1,200 years old. That always makes me feel young. I met Nicholas and we fell in love. We were married and live at the North Pole. Now we are called Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am married to Santa Claus. We have 687 elves and live at the North Pole.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
My main responsibility is to keep Santa on a schedule and keep track of all the elves. For the elves, I use spreadsheets for all their names, birthdays, and jobs. I also bake a lot of Christmas cookies for Santa. He loves all kinds of milk. Just make sure you check the expiration date on your milk on Christmas Eve because Santa doesn’t like sour milk.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Santa and I will stop in any restaurant that serves cookies and milk for dessert.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I come down to Harford County with Santa to shop during the year. I love going to all the local business. Amazon doesn’t make deliveries to the North Pole.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I love watching It’s a Wonderful Life.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Smile and be kind to others.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
The owners of Woodlea Bakery. I love their cookies and cakes. I would have lunch right there in the bakery. Who doesn’t want dessert for lunch once in awhile.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love all the Christmas Lights in the neighborhoods. It’s nice to walk through the town of Bel Air during the Christmas season.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I’ll still be living at the North Pole with Santa and all the elves and reindeer. It’s the best place to be.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
Even though I don’t like to talk about my age, Santa and I have been married for over 1,200 years.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Taking care of Santa. Making sure he eats healthy, exercises and keeping him on schedule for Christmas Eve every year.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
God. It’s important to me to be strong in my faith.
