I’ve lived in Jarrettsville for 46 years. I riding horses with friends, love going on adventurous trail rides and taking trips.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family has lived in Jarrettsville also for 46 years. My parents moved here from Baltimore County. My parents, in their younger years, worked in Baltimore county for over 50 plus years.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I drive a school bus for Harford County Public Schools. What I like about my job is meeting children and watching them grow up, along with seeing past friends who I went to school with working at the public schools.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
My favorite restaurants in Bel Air are Liberator, the Diner and Seasons Pizza. The ones closer to my home that are Poe’s Bar and Restaurant (a/k/a Gene’s), Tamberinos, Fisherman’s Catch, and Madonna Seafood. And of course who doesn’t like Chick-fil-A.

I’ve lived in Jarrettsville for 46 years and worked for 30.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Enjoy life…you only live once
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Gene’s bar – it’s just like Cheers mostly everyone know your name or who you are.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Where I live it is peaceful – slightly out in the boonies – but in no time I can be in the heart of Bel Air with all the action. I enjoy participating in the annual Christmas Parade.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still driving a bus and enjoying life.
